In Indonesia very few things come to me in the most obvious or typical fashion. I have been trying to get ahold of sea salt and was having no luck finding it. But I made a new friend who has a family company where they create a ginger tea product that is exported throughout the world. This morning he invited me to tour and visit the factory and discuss the possibility of teaching his staff English. He has a whole array of spices and gave me a bag of raw sea salt along with many other raw spices. So, apparently that's how to come by sea salt on Java.
